A lot of ARN Design’s work arrives through agencies, who often handle early legwork before the project reaches build. Many return to us regularly because they trust us to deliver reliably, on time and to a high standard.

For Brand & Marketing Teams

Direct-to-brand fabrication and manufacture

If you’re coming to ARN directly, we start by understanding what you’re trying to achieve; why you’re doing the activation or stand, how it needs to function, and what elements matter (sampling, graphics, interaction).

From there, we can develop a concept or take existing designs and translate them into something that can be built efficiently and reliably.

Designed to reduce risk (and make approvals easier)

• Brief-first approach - We take time to understand your objectives before developing anything.
• Manufacture drawings and sign-off - After agreeing direction, we produce build-ready drawings and return them for approval before production begins - ensuring the finished result matches expectations.
• Prototype when needed - Most builds are straightforward, but when something needs proving (especially interactive elements), we prototype - often in 3D first, and physically where required.
• Installation support - Installation is available UK-wide, with experienced teams handling delivery, setup and breakdown where required.

Example project

We recently partnered with Good Life Events to deliver a fantasy-themed brand activation at the O2 in London.

They came to us with a well-developed concept and strong visuals - our role was to translate that into a buildable structure and deliver it within a tight installation window in a challenging space.

Clear communication was key, as multiple suppliers were involved. We produced manufacture drawings, handled our portion of RAMS and site documentation, and delivered installation with our experienced team — supporting both on-site and remotely throughout the event.

The result closely matched the original vision, and the client has since returned to work with us again.

What we build

Trade shows and exhibitions have long been a major part of ARN’s work, with brand activation projects a fast-growing area that suits our capabilities particularly well.

We build a wide range of bespoke elements for live environments, including:

• Exhibition stands and trade show builds - Custom stands, modular systems, feature walls, counters and display units
• Brand activations and experiential builds - Interactive installations, sampling stations, pop-ups and immersive brand environments
• Retail and display fabrication - POS displays, window installations, in-store features and rollout elements
• Set and scenic builds - Temporary structures, backdrops and set pieces for events, campaigns and content
• Custom joinery and CNC-fabricated elements - Precision-cut components, bespoke furniture and one-off fabricated pieces

Most of our work is bespoke, and often combines several of the above into a single project, designed, developed and built to suit the specific brief.

Site-ready support (Health & Safety / RAMS)

If we’re installing, we can produce RAMS and supporting documentation as part of getting the project site-ready.

We can also support teams who are new to exhibitions - helping with applications and sharing risk assessment templates where needed.
